What is it about Hanks that makes it so hypnotic? Maybe it’s that mysterious X-factor that all great cartoonists have - impossible to get ‘academic’ about.
Is ‘Bates’ from Alan Moore’s Miracleman based on Stardust? They seem very similar in psychotic temperament…
