Money City, TTC — September 13, 2006 — ISM and Brenico Media Group have jointly announced that the contract for the program ‘Occult Talk’ will not be renewed. Production officially halted at the end of last season, which finished shooting in June.
“Occult Talk has been an important part of ISM’s programming catalogue,” said Kyle Megaman, President, Entertainment, ISM. “We’d like to thank Brenden Simpson, Klint Finley and an incredibly talented staff for building an engaging, bold program on ISM, and we look forward to working with them, and our partners at Brenico Media Group, again in future.”
Maxwell X. King, Corporate Mgmt Comm. Coordinator of Brenico Media Group, said, “The host and creative staff of Occult Talk ambitiously and proudly created a program we believe will have a lasting impression on our audience, an impression perhaps lasting even hours. Maybe days. We are grateful for their contributions and commend them on completing many, many exciting, sometimes dramatic, and always stunning episodes. All of us at Brenico warmly bid goodbye to ‘Occult Talk’, and we all look forward to the next big thing that the Occult Talk team comes up with.”
‘OCCULT TALK’ premiered on ISM on January 27th, 2001, and aired for its first four seasons on Saturdays (11:00-12:00PM, ET/PT). On October 28th, 2005, OCCULT TALK moved into its current time on Fridays (8:00-9:00PM, ET/PT). Through its five-and-a-half year run, OCCULT TALK produced a total of many episodes and earned seventeen Irma Awards.
