Who sent me this link? (update: mystery solved)

February 20th, 2006 by Klintron

So a couple weeks ago I woke up one morning this page was open in my browser:

http://www.woc.org/public/pamphlet/this_book.html.

I don’t remember who sent it to me, and there was no browser history behind it. Google and Technorati didn’t turn up any pages linking to it.

Anyone ever seen it before?

Update: Turns out Bill e-mailed it to me. Mystery solved.

I have not seen this before, but it reminds me of some strange cross between a) the ethics and metaphysics of the Tao Te Ching and b) cybernetic theory.

The symbol seems to be a modification of the Gnostic cross.

“If by some chance you have stumbled onto this book by “accident” or received it under mysterious circumstances from a stranger who came out of the mist or some less melodramatic fashion and hence do not know another then you are on your own.”

    -Dude…tough tittie, let it go.

The symbol is obviously meant to be rifle crosshairs. Someone is after you.

“Those who need certainty are of no use to this department.”

20 years plus, and still working as a way of being.
