The Viking Youth turn the tables on podcast host R.U. Sirius:
This week the Viking Youth Power Hour interview with author and psychedelic chess bully R.U. Sirius about his phenonmenol book Counterculture Through the Ages : From Abraham to Acid House. Started as an idea between co-author Dan Joy and Tim Leary the book chronicles counterculture from Abraham, to the Taoists, the Troubedours and Transcendtalists, all the way up through the hippies and the electronic music movement. We also discuss R.U. Sirius’ friendship with Timothy Leary, his view on Smart Drugs and being the host of one of the internet’s most interesting podcasts, the R.U. Sirius Show and facilitating a course at the Maybe Logic Academy.
This is the first of a series the Vikings will be doing this year interveiwing inspirations and other Vikings battling on the torrid front lines of weirdness.

Thanks for posting so many audio links! I’ve been looking for spoken-word stuff for my MP3 player, especially stuff having to do with magick/esoterica.
