Kyle D. Manifest was a troubled and confused man. The outcome of his
quest for personal freedom had been so traumatic for him it was
unclear if he would ever recover. As he lay on the nanomat fused to
the wall staring into the telefilm his mind drifted, cycling back and
forth between delusion and awareness of his surroundings. He was drawn
back into reality by the pulsing orange light being broadcast through
the telefilm. An awareness spot from Ameriburton was playing. The
audio accompanying the spot began with a distant air raid siren going
off. An image of General Panci faded in over the flashing color and
with it came the voiceover.
